To flash your Seed make sure to place the sample.h file in the same folder as the chia_software.ino file. Within the Arduino IDE the Encoder.h library needs to be installed as well as the ESP32C3 board library. Under the menu item partition scheme ESP32C3 board library. Seed studio provides a great step by step manual on how to install everything and flash your seed. Under the menu item partition scheme you need to choose Huge App (3Mb No OTA/1Mb Spiffs).
